Graduate Course Offerings:

July 2023 Fall Semester:

Myth 590: Universe of the Dark Goddesses: Beginning with Neolithic Old Europe as a foundation, the course will build on your experiences and knowledge to deepen understanding of nine powerful Dark Goddesses and their associated archetypes. You will investigate the Neolithic Mother Goddess, Hel (Hela/Hella), Morrigan, Lilith, Sedna (Arnakuagsak/Nerrivik), Hekate (Hecate), Baba Yaga, Cailleach (Calliagh Berra), and Persephone (Proserpina/ Kore). We will utilize analysis of mythology, discussion of archetypes, and a variety of practices to interact with these remarkable Dark Goddesses in conjunction with the following goals.

- Understanding the impact of mythology and archetypes on culture and self.

- Evaluating mythology from the standpoint of the student’s personal spiritual journey.

- Utilizing the understanding of the myth to integrate, validate and support Shadow work and the healing journey of the self.

- Integrate Shadow Self, improve your health, and empower your actions.

Future Courses:

Magic 530 Crystals for Magical Healing: This course will build on the student’s personal knowledge of crystals to investigate working with stones in alternative healing. Through in-depth analysis and comparison, lessons will focus on understanding how crystals can help with healing and assist with maintaining health. Students will learn about substitutions, safe practices, and how to work with crystals in counseling, hands-on healing, energy work sessions or rituals. Classes will also include discussions of ethics, integrity, and creating sacred space when facilitating healing for others. Through ancient esoteric and modern magical practices, the sessions will also look at potential uses in group healing rituals.

Disclaimer: Spiritual healing work and alternative healing practices should be used in conjunction with proper medical care and qualified counseling.

Ritual 570 - Psychology of Initiation in Ancient and Modern Life: Dr. Aidan Kelly will be teaching a graduate-level course on initiatory experiences through history. Using a variety of historical sources, students will study the Eleusinian Mysteries as an archetype of ancient initiatory practices, and explore the psychology of these experiences in the ancient times through to the present.

Wicca 550 - Introduction to Teaching Methodology: Teaching is a skill and just like any other skill it can be learned. This course will introduce you to methods that will make you a successful teacher. The class will explore how you can become an effective educator and work in a positive and supportive manner with your students as a group. Teaching one-on-one is different than teaching a group. This course will better prepare you to meet the needs of a group of students.
